iPhone 6s and 6s Plus gets huge price-cut of around Rs 12k



Apple released iPhone 6s and 6s Plus launched in India in the month of October. It was launched with an initial price of Rs 62,000 for iPhone 6s 16GB variant and Rs 72,000 for iPhone 6s Plus. At that time everyone complaint that the price was too high and most of people went for previous generation iPhone 6 which was available for about 15k less. Considering no visual or design changes were made to the latest iPhone, most users went with previous generation. Now, two months later Apple has understood that the price is too high for the Indian market and has reduced price to increase the sales.

NVIDIA unveils Shield K1 tablet, priced $200

NIVIDIA has unveiled a new variant or a new package of Shield Tablet. The Shield K1 is same as predecessor but priced lower by about 100$ at 200$. This is because the package contains only the tablet, the stylus,charger and the USB cable has been omitted to reduce the price.

Google Nexus 6P & 5X is now on sale


Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X was released a couple of weeks ago and now it has started to appear for sale in some major countries like US, Canada, UK, Ireland, India, Korea, and Japan. The prices vary from $379 to almost $500 from country to country for the 5X, same case has been found for the 6P also.

YU-Cyanogen Deal is over, Yuphoria now ships with Stock Android


Yu has announced that their deal with Cyanogen Inc is over and their current devices will now ship with pure Android instead of Cyanogen OS. Along with the change they have also made a price-cut to Yuphoria from Rs 6,999 to Rs 6,499.

Samsung has announced their rollout of 3rd generation V-NAND technology by introducing new SSDs in different form factors. The new technology will allow more capacity in SSDs at the same price as todays while also delivering more performance efficiently. Mass production of the 3rd Gen V-NAND technology is said to start in early 2016.

Asus Zenphone GO announced in India, Priced at INR 7,999


Asus has launched Zenphone Go on Flipkart. Zenphone Go is the low-end variant of the Zenphone family. It features an HD screen and a Quadcore Mediatek processor and is priced at Rs 7,999. It will be available exclusively through Flipkart.

Xiaomi Mi 4c is official: USB TYPE-C and Snapdragon 808


Xiaomi has announced their new addition to Mi family, called the Mi 4c. It similiar to Mi 4i interms of design but the internals have got a good upgrade. Mi 4c features Qualcomm Snapdragon 808, USB Type-C and has an improved camera 13MP sensor featuring phase detection autofocus (PDAF).

Moto X Play available in India, Starting at Rs 18,499


Motorola has launched Moto X Play in India. It is sold exclusively on Flipkart. Both the 16GB and 32GB versions are available at a price of INR 18,499 and INR 19,999. The phone was launched month back it is a slightly downgraded Moto X Style for the Mid-Range market.

Sony has announced their updated S-series of phones. It includes Z5 Premium, Z5 and the Z5 Compact. Sony was lagging behind competitors in their flagship phones. The specs were becoming not upto par with current flagships, but with Z5 they are killing every other flagships out there by bringing in Z5 Premium featuring World's 1st 4K display on a smartphone.

Pictures of Lenovo's upcoming smartphone Vibe P1 Pro has been posted on social network Weibo. The phone's highlight is it's battery, packing a whopping 5,000 mAh battery. The phone seems to have an magnesium alloy body construction with a Unibody Design.

Meizu MX5 launches in India priced at Rs 19,999


Meizu has started selling MX5 in the Indian market exclusively via Indian online shopping site Snapdeal at a price of INR 19,999. Earlier Snapdeal had placed launch notification on their page. Only 16GB version with two color options Silver Black and  Silver White are available in India currently. 32GB and 64GB options are expected too arrive soon.

Microsoft's voice assistant Cortana for android was leaked many times and now Microsoft has made the app available as Public Beta. But it seems that it is available only in US.

Asus has announced a Special Edition varient of Zenphone 2 Deluxe version in Brazil which comes with 256GB of internal storage. Which is the highest in any mobile so far. The Zenphone 2 was launched with 4GB RAM which was also the highest when it launched.

Samsung Galaxy E7 won't get Lollipop update


Samsung promised Lollipop updates for the E-series devices, that is the E5 and E7. While there have been test builds of  lollipop for E5, Samsung UK has confirmed that lollipop update for E7 is cancelled due to some unknown reason reason.

Sony has unveiled an update to the original SmartBand, The SmartBand 2 which features an heart rate monitor which measures the Heart rate and also manages notification form iOS or Android devices.

BlackBerry Venice leaked, BlackBerry with Android !


A clear and crisp rendered image of the BlackBerry slider device code named Venice has been leaked by evleaks. Previous leak showed only the screen. The image shows of the Dual-curved screen supplied by Samsung and a slider keyboard.
As rumors claim that the device is set to feature Android OS secured by BlackBerry's own Kernal and a 18MP rear camera.


Meizu MX5 going to launch in India


The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Meizu has announced that they will be launching MX5 in India. It will be sold exclusively on Snapdeal, where you can register for notification when it becomes available.

MX 5 features a 5.5-inch Full-HD AMOLED display covered with Gorilla Glass 3, The rear camera features a 20.7 MP , f/2.2 aperture,6-element lens and laser auto focus system. The front camera is 5MP one with f/2.0 aperture.The processor used is Mediatek Helio X10 (MT6795) which is a Octa-Core Cortex A53 clocked at 2.2GHz paired with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM.

On the connectivity front it features Dual-Band WiFi b/g/n and ac support, along with Bluetooth 4.1. It also supports 4G LTE. No pricing details have been published.

Live images of Nexus 5 2015 by LG leak!


The live images of Nexus 5 2015 has been leaked by the popular youtuber, MKBHD. The smartphone is supposedly made by LG and is set to feature a 5.2-inch display,USB Type-C along with Android Marshmallow (6.0).  It will also feature a fingerprint sensor on the back. It will also feature Dual-LED flash and Laser Auto Focus, most probably, all the camera tech are same as LG G4, So the rear camera sensor could be Sony Exmor IMX234 with 16MP on a 1/2.6 - inch sensor.
Like that the processor could be Snapdragon 808.
