Micromax developing it's own skin for Android

According to a report by The Economic Times, Micromax is developing it's own skin for their Android devices.
Most major device manufacturers have their own forked version of android to differentiate from others. For example Xiaomi has MIUI, Samsung has TouchWiz while Asus has Zen UI thus making their phones their identity from such a good brand name is build. Micromax had different kinds of skin on different devices mostly stock but filled with bloatware.

The first smartphones with the new OS will be available by the end of this financial year and they will be affordably priced”  Micromax’s co-founder Vikas Jain told the Economic Times.

The name or details of the skin have not been reported yet. But Micromax has hired about 75 developers from Nokia's R&D lab in Beijing to Micromax's Software Lab in  Bangalore. Micromax really needed their own forked version of android as even though they got the hardware and price right, most people hated their software which was filled with bloatware and the OTA update system was a hit or a miss. So if they develop their own forked version, it will give the people a hope for better user experience.
