Xiaomi has announced their new addition to Mi family, called the Mi 4c. It similiar to Mi 4i interms of design but the internals have got a good upgrade. Mi 4c features Qualcomm Snapdragon 808, USB Type-C and has an improved camera 13MP sensor featuring phase detection autofocus (PDAF).
The display on the Mi 4c is a Full-HD panal, it also features 3GB of RAM for the 32GB variant while the 16GB features 2GB of RAM, The camera has also received a upgrade, the sensor used is either Sony Exmor IMX258 or Samsung S5K3M2 ISOCELL sensor depending on the stock or region. The new sensor boasts Phase Detection autofocus for more faster focusing on subjects. The front camera has also been upgraded to a 5MP wide-angled one. The battery used is 3080mAh one with Quick Charge 2.0.
The phone comes with a new Edge Tap feature which allows users to either take a selfie with a single tap or go back with double tap. The phone also features a Tap to wake feature for faster unlocking. Xiaomi has also introduced the USB Type-C to micro-USB adapter at a price of 5 RMB or INR 50. It also has an IR blaster for controlling appliances much like a Universal Remote.
The 32GB variant is priced at RMB 1299 (INR 13,400) and 16GB variant is priced at RMB 1399 (INR 15,400) at will be available on Mi.com or Tmall from September 23rd in various color options like White,Black,Cyan,Yellow,Pink.
