Oppo Mirror 5 photos leaked

Oppo Mirror 5 is an upcoming smartphone with an attractive rear panel, just like the gorgeous Oppo R1x. The Mirror 5 will tempt the users with a mirrored rear back with diamond pattern, latest Android OS and advanced camera tech.

Oppo R7 will have a 13 MP ISOCELL rear camera with Phase Detection Autofocus

The oft-leaked and much-rumored Oppo R7 will finally go official on May 20, and as we get ever closer to that date the Chinese company keeps revealing new details about it. Today’s focus (excuse the pun) is on the cameras.

Vivo X5Pro Renders Leak Ahead of May 13th Launch

The Vivo X5Pro is one of the most interesting handsets left to launch this month, together with the Oppo R7. This device has been pictured again, in a series of renders shown below, that shed some light on its size and format.

Oppo R7 Plus is pictured for the first time with fingerprint sensor

The upcoming Oppo R7 has been leaked and even teased by the Chinese company a lot lately. However, we've only once heard a mention of the Oppo R7 Plus, a bigger device that may be launched alongside the R7 on May 20.
So as the R7 took the spotlight all for itself, the R7 Plus has pretty much remained a mystery. Until now, that is. The leaked pictures you can see below seem to depict the R7 Plus, first in render form (and not a very good one at that), but then also in a hands-on that appears to be from a TV commercial.
In the second image, on the left we clearly have the R7, while on the right is the R7 Plus. And, as you can see, the bigger model will sport a fingerprint sensor on its back, underneath the camera.
The R7 Plus render, bad as it may be, apparently implies we might see 2.5D curved glass on this handset as well as the R7. It also looks like it sports a metallic construction.
Unfortunately no specs for the R7 Plus have been outed, but they will hopefully be leaked before the unveiling event later this month.

ZTE Nubia Z9 is official with bezelless display

Just as rumored, the ZTE Nubia Z9 is officially here. The handset was made official today in Beijing and, from the looks of it, it definitely lives up to expectations.
The definitive feature we were all hoping and waiting for is very much present. The ZTE Nubia Z9 features a 1080p, 5.2-inch 2.5D panel, surrounded by a very thin reflective bezel, which creates the illusion of an edge-to-edge screen. The bezel in question is only 0.8 mm and uses clever optics to reflect the screen image. This is very similar to what we expected to see an upcoming Oppo handset, but the Nubia Z9 is a true ambassador of the new technology and visual style.

ColorOS 2.1 brings Lollipop sweetness to Oppo smartphones

While most manufacturers have been busy pushing Android Lollipop to their devices in the recent months, users of Oppo smartphones have been out of luck. However, that was until now.
According to a GizChina report, the Chinese company has announced that its phones will be getting an update to ColorOS 2.1, which is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. While that's certainly good news for Oppo fans, it isn't yet clear when the ColorOS 2.1 will roll out and which Oppo devices will be eligible for the update.
The news comes hot on the heels of Oppo's confirmation of the upcoming R7 smartphone's all-metal body and launch date.

Oppo officially confirms metal unibody and May 20 launch for R7

A lot has been said about Oppo's upcoming handset - the R7. For quite a long time we were all convinced that the phone will be the first to feature a 'bezelless' screen design based on the company's recent patent. Since then, however, Oppo has cleared up a lot of myths around the smartphone and it seems the R7 won't come with the new edge-to-edge technology we were hoping for.

The screen might not bring along the anticipated "coolness factor" in the R7, but the device will still have a lot to offer. For one, a new teaser once again proves that the prone will come with a metal unibody as rumored.
Also, an event invitation has been making the rounds online, so it is safe to assume that the Oppo R7 will be unveiled at the said venue on May 20. As far as we currently know, the phone will boast a pretty thin profile (under 5mm) and 4.7-inch screen, the Oppo R7 fits a 2,000 mAh battery. Its display resolution is set to be 1080p. It is also said to feature a 20.7 MP rear camera, and should be powered by MediaTek's 64-bit MT6795 chipset coming with an octa-core processor.

As for the aforementioned novice 'bezelless' design, not all hope is lost yet. Judging by the large number of alleged photos and even a leaked video, demonstrating the interesting tech, such a phone might exist and be headed to consumer markets as well, just under a different name.

Oppo addresses R7 rumors with official images, specs

Oppo R7 has really been a constant presence in the rumor mill, especially the last few days. A lot of users are excited about the prospect of an edge-to-edge, curved screen, but some new official information might leave a lot of them disappointed.

It appears Oppo has decided to stop the rumor madness around the upcoming R7 and has sent us some official information about the device, which debunks most of the previous rumors and speculations. Judging from a set of official renders of the device, we can safely say, that the display is not what we expected. Apparently, the R7 won't come with a curved, edge-to-edge display, like a recent Oppo patent and a lot of alleged videos and photos have been suggesting. Don't get disappointed though - the bezelless phone might still be in the making, just under a different name.

Either way, the Oppo R7 will have a rather traditional-looking display, complete with some bezels. The overlaying glass does feature a 2.5D effect, but no actual edge can be seen. Actually, we did have at least one leak that was close to the actual thing. The Oppo R7, might not be the curved screen phone most were waiting for, but it does still have its merits.
The device does look quite thin, perhaps even another record-holder and beautifully crafted with a metal frame and what appears to be a glass back. It is also worth noting that the camera is not protruding, which is not the case with most similarly slim handsets. This, however might suggest that the camera isn't quite as capable as the ones on the Galaxy S6 or the One M9, but, we can’t really know for sure, before Oppo gives us some more insight.

The promotional materials also make another thing clear - the upcoming R7 will feature the company's own VOOC fast-changing technology. This was more than expected, seeing how Oppo's tech manages to charge the device much faster.
As far as specs on the R7 go, we still have only rumors to go by, which, given the current situation, we are a lot more inclined to question as well.

In the past it has been said that the R7 should sport a MediaTek MT6795 SoC with octa-core CPU, as well as a 20.7 MP rear camera. 4G LTE support should be on board as well.

Details of OPPO R7 AND R7 Plus leaked - Thinner and more powerful than R5

A new leak reveals that OPPO will most likely release its OPPO R7 flagship along with the R7 Plus at an event on May 20. This puts the release date not too far, around a month later.
OPPO R7 leaked
Although the R7 was rumored to be thbezelless smartphone that has been making rounds on the internet, yesterday’s leak reveals that the phone will concentrate more on its slimness. The OPPO R5 is still one of the thinnest smartphones in the market and it looks like its successor, the R7 will also continue that tradition. It is said that the phone may be thinner than 5mm and from the leaked render, it does feel like the phone is super thin. But the company probably will not try to beat the 4.85mm thick body found on the R5, as its hard to fit in a decent battery on a slim device.
The R7 will most likely feature the new Helio X10 MT6795 processor with a powerful 20.7MP camera and 2000mAh battery. There will be a 4.7-inch display with 1080p resolution and 2.5D glass. On the other hand, the OPPO R7 Plus is said to come with a larger display along with a much larger battery. As a result, the phone will be much thicker than the R7. The company may also incorporate an infrared laser sensor on the device probably for faster focus.
Given that we are getting new information about OPPO devices regularly, we expect more details in the coming few weeks.

Oppo to launch smartphone to take on Xperia Z, HTC One in India

Oppo Find 5 comes with Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.5Ghz processor, 5-inch full HD display and 13 megapixel camera.

Yet another Chinese brand, Oppo is entering India and is planning to launch its flagship smartphone, Find 5, with specification similar to the HTC One, Sony Xperia Z and Samsung Galaxy S4.

AndroidGuruz, which will distribute the phone in India, has informed The Mobile Indian that the phone will be priced at Rs 27,445 for 16GB version and Rs 31,259 for 32GB version and will be available by end of this month.

The phone is based on Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 pro chipset with 1.5 GHz quad core processor and 2GB RAM, this is the same as the most premium phones like the ones mentioned above come with.

On the display front it will have a 5 inch IPS display panel with 1920x1080 pixel full HD resolution. The display uses OGS (one glass solution) technology for better viewing angle and readability in sun light.

In the camera department the phone comes with 13 megapixel camera which the company claims can capture 120 frames per second video about four time the normal video frame rate and can be used for super slow motion videos. The camera uses CMOS sensor and f2.2 aperture and supports HDR (high dynamic ration) for better contrast ratio.

Oppo Find 5 also uses Direct HD sound system for better audio experience. Oppo has overlaid the Android 4.2 operating system with its own user interface, which it claims adds to the phone's functionality.

In terms of connectivity phone is feature packed with NFCDLNAWiFi Direct (can connect with any other WiFi device wirelessly to offer same experience as HDMI), 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 there too.

Oppo Find 5

The phone is slim and compact with dimensions of 141.8 x 68.8 x 8.86 mm which compares very well with dimensions of Sony Xperia Z which comes with 139 x 71 x 7.9 mm measurement. The phone looks very attractive in a minimalist but elegant design.

International press has showered lot praise on the phone for its top notch quality and performance. However in India we feel that selling Oppo Find 5 will be a challenge as the brand is completely unknown and its Chinese origins means people will find it hard to trust the quality.

Next-gen Oppo Find rumored to sport Snapdragon 800 CPU

Rumors are floating around of the next-generation Oppo Find smartphone, predictably dubbed the Find 6. According to "trusted sources over in China", Oppo's next smartphone is going to pack the nerdgasmic quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM.

Other features that are speculated at this stage are a screen that matches the one of Oppo 5 (5" unit of 1080p resolution) and a 13MP camera. Interestingly, the sources claim that the company is testing out an 8MP front-facing camera.

The rumors also mention NFC functionality but don't say anything about microSD card support and removable battery - two things the Find 5 misses.Reportedly, we should expect the Oppo Find 6 to make its debut this fall, but a specific time frame or a price haven't been talked about just yet.Oppo made quite a splash and definitely placed its name on many people's watchlist with its Find 5 smartphone, which sadly is taking too long to make its international debut
