Microsoft announces Surface Book, Surface Pro 4 and Windows 10 Mobile

Microsoft has announced the launch of the Windows 10 mobile and along with it the flagship devices Lumia 950 and 950 XL. They also unveiled the Surface Pro 4 and for the first time announced a full sized (well sort of!) laptop the Surface Book.

The Surface Book is microsoft's approach to the Macbook Pro. The surface book is loaded considering the specs, it features a full laptop CPU, with the option to choose from Intel's 6th Gen Core M3, i5 or i7. The RAM goes from 4GB all the way upto 16GB . The storage is utilized by A SSD  with capacities ranging from 128GB to 1TB which is plenty. The display is a 13.5-inch 3000x2000 resolution display in a 3:2 ratio. The display incorporates Pixel Sense technology by Microsoft and supports 10-point Multi touch.

The Surface Book is a Hybrid Laptop, the screen can be separated from the keyboard. The base of the laptop the part where the keyboard is only filled by Battery, ports and a dedicated Nvidia Geforce GPU, although the exact model is unknown. All the remaining parts like CPU,RAM, SSD etc..are on the display part.

In terms of design, Microsoft has pulled off a wonderful move with a signature look. The Magnesium alloy body has nice brushed metal color to it and the fit and finish is awesome. The trackpad is made of Glass and the promises to be better than what Apple provides.

The base model starts at $1,499 but that version contains only 128GB of SSD, when you configure it to the required config, it's sure to cost you.
