Jolla has announced the release of Sailfish OS to early access users. Jolla is marketing the OS as People's OS as they have made most of the decisions by feedback from users. The new update improves every aspect of the os. The design has been overhauled with a new app drawer and some key elements have changed in design. The update will be available to both Smartphone and Tablet users.
Although the os is said to be verson 2.0 the actual os version number given to early access users is 1.1.9, only when the OS matures and hits the public release the version will change to 2.0. The main home screen displays the running apps in a carousel manner much like BlackBerry 10 OS and swiping from left or right shows the events view or App Drawer.
