Meizu m2 note will be available exclusively on Amazon India next week (AUG 10). It will be available at a price of Rs 9,999 making it direct competitor to YU Yureka Plus and Lenovo K3 Note. The phone is the successor to Meizu m1 note does not have many improvements aside from processor change and material build.

The Meizu m2 note is equipped with a 5.5-inch IGZO screen from Sharp, with a Full HD resolution. The camera on the rear is a 13MP while the front camera is a 5MP camera.

The processor used is a Mediatek MT6573 instead of MT6572. We can't say that this is a worthy upgrade or not because MT6752 feature 8 cortex A53 cores at 1.7Ghz while the MT6753 features the same core config at 1.3Ghz. The only 'upgrade' is the GPU from dual core Mali T760 to tri-core Mali T720. It also features a 2GB LPDDR2 RAM. with a 5-element f/2.2 lens, dual-LED flash, and Blue glass IR filter. It also features a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 and 69-degree wide viewing angle.

The m2 note runs Flyme OS (version 4) based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. While there is no dedicated microSD slot available on the phone, the unit does offer a Hybrid Dual SIM slot. This means that the first SIM slot can act as a microSD card slot supporting upto 128GB microSD card.

It measures 150.9x75.2x8.7mm and weighs 149 grams. It also packs a 3100mAh battery that is slightly smaller than the 3140mAh battery found on the m1 note. The Meizu m2 note supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0 Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity. The device is 8.7mm thick and weighs 149 grams, so it is not too thick or too heavy.
