Samsung’s rumored Galaxy A-series smartphone ‘A8′ has been spotted in the database of GFXBench. The smartphone is expected to be introduced in the coming months and will join the already available Galaxy A3, A5, and A7 smartphones.
According to GFXBench, the Galaxy A8 SM-A8000 will feature a 5.5-inch full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core 64-bit processor and Android 5.1.1. The phone will also pack 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 16MP primary shooter and 5MP front camera.
In addition, Samsung is expected to include the usual connectivity options including 4G LTE and NFC. Among other specifications, SamMobile recently reported that Galaxy A8 might also pack a fingerprint scanner and 3050 mAh battery.
There is no word on the pricing at this moment, but we hope to see an official announcement soon.
