He will be appointed CEO after the deal is finished. Microsoft has also set a $350 million deal with Foxconn's subsidiary FIH Mobile for the feature phone business.
The HMD is said to fund $500 million in marketing for the next three years to bring back the Nokia's name. Also, HMD Global and FIH Global has a joint deal, as quoted "to support the building of a global business for Nokia-branded mobile phones and tablets."
The FIH Global deal is said to be completed at the end of June, thou there is no time-frame for device launches they promise there will be Android based Smartphones and Tablets which they say "that all Nokia-branded products exemplify consumer expectations of Nokia devices, including quality, design and consumer-focused innovation."
