Lenovo’s new A6000 Plus smartphone will retail at INR 7,499 in the Indian market, revealed the Chinese manufacturer today. According to the company, the smartphone will be available exclusively via e-retailer Flipkart.com, which also carries the other A-series smartphones like A6000 and A7000.

Lenovo has stated that the first flash sale for A6000 Plus will be happening on April 28 and the registrations for the same open later today at Flipkart.

A6000 Plus is an upgraded version of the Lenovo A6000 smartphone and comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage, instead of 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage in A6000. Other specifications of the A600 Plus are same as its predecessor – 5-inch 720p HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor, 8MP rear camera and 2MP front shooter. The smartphone also packs 2300 mAh battery, 4G LTE support and Android 4.4 with Vibe 2.0.We can expect Android 5.0 Lollipop update for this device as A6000 will be getting it this quarter and there isn't much hardware difference.

“We were overwhelmed with the positive response from consumers for the A6000 and that triggered us at Lenovo to further enhance the multitasking capabilities of the device making it the best future-proof smartphone and offer superior experience to the millennials. The A6000 plus is a great value for money device with cutting-edge technology and distinctive features,” said Sudhin Mathur, Director- Smartphones, Lenovo India.
